Back Pressure Regulating Valve DN25 & DN40
DN25 & DN40 (1” – 1½”)
To prevent the pressure in a cryogenic storage tank from rising above a pre-determined set point.
The upstream pressure is applied to a spring-loaded diaphragm, as the pressure increases the movement of the diaphragm opens the valve to allow the flow of fluid from inlet to outlet, the outlet can be to atmosphere or to a low pressure recovery vessel (no greater than 10% of the set pressure).
When the pressure falls below the set point the valve closes.
Maximum Working Pressure (MWP)
(Subject to End Connections)
Up to 40 bar at –196°C to +65°C
